The Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre (HILAC) welcomes parents / guardians to leave their children with professional Early Childhood Educators in our Occasional Care Centre.

Children may be left at the Centre while parents/guardians:
– Access the facilities of the Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre
– Attend other commitments outside the Leisure Centre.
Our Occasion Care Centre caters for children from the age of 7 weeks to 7 years old.

Enrolment
Prior to your child attending the Occasional Care Centre, parents/ guardians are required to complete an enrolment form; these are available from the Occasional care during their operating hours, or via the link below.
Please note: You will be asked to upload a current copy of your child’s Immunisation History
Statement (accessed by logging onto your online my.Gov account), so please have this ready
before you start completing the enrolment form. Please ensure you have BOTH parents
details, CRN numbers for both yourself and your child, we also require at least 2 emergency
contacts other than parents with address, email, phone numbers and relationship to child.
We also require any parenting plans/orders, medical action plans and birth certificates to
process enrolment. Please ensure you fill in ALL details incomplete enrolments will not be
accepted.

Program
Our Friendly Educators offer a stimulating program of educational experiences set in a safe and nurturing environment. The children are encouraged to make choices practice independence and interact with peers. Our Program is based on the interests and developmental stages of the children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia.
We also offer an indoor/outdoor program utilizing our secure playground (weather permitting).
Operating Hours
Monday to Friday 9 am to 12 noon, including School Holidays unless otherwise advertised.
Bookings
Casual Bookings requested, can be made through the service via text on 0428 259 412
Ongoing Bookings (pre booked days /times) are available on a school term basis. Care is available on an hourly basis.
Payments
All occasional care payments are now made via a fortnightly Direct debit. Direct Debit Dates 2024 2025
A “fees and charges form” is required to be filled out upon enrolment.

Our service is approved under the Family Assistance Law therefore Child Care Subsidy is available.
